The PicoScope 4444 differential oscilloscope uses a standard D9 connector in a custom pin out. So for customers who wish to use existing single-ended BNC probes, BNC current probes, coax cables and so on will require an adaptor. The TA271 is a D9 to single BNC adaptor and allows just that. One TA271 is shipped with each PicoScope 4444 kit.
