Because with 4-channel scope measurements with common grounding there is only one grounding cable needed, the blue 3m long cable is equipped with a fixed grounding cable.
The grounding cables of the 3m long red, yellow and green test leads can be removed upon request and for simplifying the measurements.
The 5 m leads come with fixed 2.5 m ground extensions and are designed for working on larger vehicles.
