This feedthrough attenuator is a coaxial terminator with BNC connectors. It is useful for connecting signals from 50 Ohm sources into instruments with high-impedance inputs, such as oscilloscopes.The feed-through terminator can also be used for recording 4-20mA signals in data logging mode with PicoScope DSOs, which have got BNC input connectors. According to Ohm's law, we get a voltage drop of 0,2 to 1VDC at the 50 Ohm resistor, which can be used then for the voltage recording and parametrization by means of the PicoLog software.
