Automotive Breakout Lead for Kostal Sensors
The Kostal breakout lead enables voltage readings to be taken from the numerous sensors and actuators in the engine compartment. The breakout lead is simply connected into the existing cable loom, and the output signal can then be taken from the two 4 mm banana plugs into the automotive oscilloscope using TA000 BNC to 4 mm test lead (or TA125 to TA128 premium test leads). The breakout cable has been designed with separate access to the individual wires to allow probing with current clamps. As an example this allows both injector current and injector voltage to be captured.
There are two variants available: 2-pin or 3-pin (please select when ordering!)
Please note: the test lead is required to convert the 4 mm banana plug connection on the TA012 to a BNC connector suitable for plugging into the PicoScope.
